Savoring the Moment...to come

Uploaded: October 27, 2005

Description

I've wanted to try the selective color technique and thought my nearly 3 grandson's thoughtful contemplation of his lollipop would be a good subject (especially since I didn't have a chance to correct the white balance for tungsten before I shot this!). I used Photoshop 7.0's Layers, Curves, Filters and Channel mixer to blur out the kitchen background, convert the image to b&w and highlight the candy.
