Description

1/4000s @ f/5.6, ISO 1600, Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8, VRII @ 400mm, 2X teleconverter.
Taken in Florida this past December 2012 from a small footbridge overlooking a swampy wetlands. The area was quite dark although it was a beautiful sunny day. I was shooting pair of Wood Storks in the water when all of a sudden this one just rose straight up!
