Toddlin' Town
Uploaded: January 09, 2013
The song “Chicago,” written by Fred Fisher and published in 1922, established the city as “That Toddlin’ Town.” The nickname, or so I’ve read, is derived from the “Toddlers,” a group of Chicago settlers from a small village in Germany who were forced to leave because they had too much facial hair. True or not, the lines and angles of the buildings sure impressed me! Happy Hump Day, everyone!
