Beauty in Flight

Uploaded: January 01, 2013

Description

On a recent trip to Galveston, TX, my husband and I road the ferry. We were up on the observation deck and a beautiful pelican flying low came by the ferry. I followed him with my camera a snapped several photos. I managed to get one I could crop in and work in LR4. His beak coloring is not a camera color problem. It was actually that color and I have been informed that it stems from age.

Taken with a Nikon D7000 and 18-200 lens. (Jan)

Thank you, Arthur. The ferry was gong one way and the pelican the other. I didn't have much time. Got lucky, I think! #10494270
