Mosby "The Gray Ghost"
Uploaded: December 15, 2012
Mosby is one of our rescue cats we found abandoned at less than 4 weeks and had to be bottle fed for a while. As he grew he was very fast and could hide easily so he was named Mosby after John Singleton Mosby the civil war "Gray Ghost". Later we would learn he was a rare breed, a Korat. With all our other indoor cats he still runs, hides and attacks from a stealth mode and keeps true to his name. He would prefer to be an only cat and is very affectionate.

We had a cat that would stealth attack us all the time! We took our lives in our hands if we walked down an unlit hallway at night! She was so much fun! #10465599Anita Hogue December 15, 2012

Emile, not only is Mosby the cat a handsome devil, but your description of his namesake so intrigued me I had to look up the "Grey Ghost" of the Civil War. Fascinating reading! You learn so much through this site!John Connolly December 16, 2012

I thought he was a Korat. He is so beautiful, Emile! #10466789Michelle Alton December 16, 2012
Mosby looks very much like the kitten my friend adopted from a litter of feral cats born to one he had been feeding. I said the kitten's fur looked the color of PEWTER...and PEWTER became his name. Pewter made a cat lover of me!So this Mosby makes me SMILE! #10466897
