Sunset in Cancun

Uploaded: December 14, 2012

Description

This was taken from a restaurant balcony on tripod at dusk. Seven exposures from -2 to +2 ev were captured and processed in Photomatix. I previewed each image prior to deciding to combine them, and found the bow of the boat and the rope (which I cloned out) to be blurred from slight rocking motion in each image. Further processing through Nik color effects and used topaz Denoise after attempts with Nik Dfine to denies this. Pulled in some selective sharpening through photoshop high pass filter.

Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 5/2 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 100, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 47.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS-1D X
