Walter Straus, Pearl Harbor Day veteran and Keynote Speaker at the Remembrance Ceremony aboard the Battleship New Jersey--just after laying the ceremonial wreath into the murky Delaware River.

Mr. Straus told Congressman Rob Andrews (who hosted the event) that the thick, eerie fog seemed apt and appropriate for the day.

Several veterans who had been present at last year's ceremony had "gone home" during the passing of the year. Hence, the hauntingly beautiful singing of "Bring Them Home" by William Mead, Executive Director of AMVETS of South Jersey.
