Perhaps a bit irreverent for a day of Thanksgiving.

But I am thankful that in spite the difficult times that pile up on us (albeit the Altons' pale in comparison to those of the millions of people STILL suffering)--Humor plays an important role in "getting us through!"

This was actually an audience scan, shot last August during a fiddling competition at Howell Living History Farm in Lambertville, NJ.

It was only last night that I realized that this couple was posed perfectly for a Cialis advertisement (OK, so they are not sitting in tubs).

Happy Thanksgiving, and may we all see past our troubles to find the REAL blessings that we have!

I love that humor my friend. I agree, It reminds me of a Mash show I had seen where they are swamped with wounded and Hawkeye was joking around and one of the reporters who was doing a documentary asked him how he can joke around at a time like this. Hawkeye said that if he didn't he would go insane.I try to live by that scene. That no matter what happens to me, I am going to find some way to laugh. Good for you dear friend.
