Description

A photographer both participates in and captures the action during a procession at a Dia de los Muertos celebration at Conejo Mountain Cemetery in Camarillo. Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), marked on Nov. 1, is a celebration and remembrance of departed family members and other loved ones. It includes singing, dancing, foods, and ofrendas (offerings or altars) that display family photos, foods, and other items that were favorites of the departed family member or friend.
