Just to let you know I didn't give up on that last photo I posted...I did try a tighter crop but did not flip it. #1497486Kristin Duff November 09, 2012
And then I darkened up the greens. Should have done this first...so much to remember... #10412105Michael Kelly November 09, 2012
Good job on the post processing on the other shot. Looks good. The new post is one of those that can be used as a Christmas card for sure. Beautiful scene right out of Currier and Ives. I don't see anything it needs and looks good to go to me. #10412121

These are such pretty shots, Kristin! I find the first one a little tilted, but then I usually can't straighten my own pictures for the life of me, so I could be wrong. #10412134Kristin Duff November 09, 2012
Might be the hill in the background giving the illusion of a tilt but the bridge is even ...I think. when is Dale, the horizontal policeman, back? #10412140Jeff E Jensen November 10, 2012
Nice job on the edits on the pine cone, looks good. The bridge image is really nice. It looks pretty straight to me. I'd use that center upright post to work from since there's very little that's not curved. #10412498

Nice job on your edits on the older image. Maybe have it printed and decorate for the season with it. :~) And your new image is so pretty...what a lovely place. It maybe tilted...would go with the suggestion that Jeff gave. Also make sure the white balance is good. #10412888Stephen Shoff November 10, 2012
I'm with Mike and the others on this. Its a well done, classic winter scene.Good work, Kristin. #10413509

Yup, beautiful winter scene. I'd love to take a walk across that bridge :) #10413660Elaine Hessler November 11, 2012
Wow, that sure is pretty. I really like the pine cone-I would definitely use it for an xmas card-it is so crisp and the color and detail are very nice. #10414149Debbie E. Payne November 11, 2012
I like your edits on the pinecone shot as well. The new one is a great winter scene and makes me want to go downstairs and turn on the fireplace. #10414219Rita K. Connell November 11, 2012
good job on the picecone shotyour winter wonderland is beautiful, I don't see anything I would change either. #10414376

I agree that your edits on the previous shot looks great! Yes you could use the other as a Christmas card! Nice leading lines in it. #10415727Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
