Floating Into Autumn (2)
Uploaded: October 05, 2012
Behind my house is this little creek. The creek bed is covered with old leaves and the water is only 5 or 6 inches deep and crystal clear. I have spent evenings sitting on the creek bank waiting for an interesting leaf to go floating by. My 5 year old niece Tara goes with me so I also have great conversation while I wait. She spotted this one for me.

Beautiful! I love the color and shape of the leaf and the composition of your photo---also love the detail on the bottom of the creek! #10361929Val Feldman October 09, 2012
Wonderful contrasts, Dayna...the orange and red leaf contrasts beautifully against the wonderful textures of the decaying leaves in your creek bed. Tara has a good eye - I'm seeing photo lessons in the near future for this little girl - those super photo genes of yours live on! :) #10362277Gail Sullivan October 10, 2012
