Dear Old Golden Rule Days

Most of us remember getting our education from the perspective of a desk. This old remnant of a desk was found in an abandoned one room school built in 1914.
It makes you wonder how many generations may have sat in this desk.

This is the SAME STYLE DESK I sat in throughout Grade school in Brooklyn. The top of which I had to sand & varnish after scratching my initials in it.
Justice was made to fit the infraction back in my Catholic Grammar school days.

Beautiful B&W presentation Heather of days gone by. I'm really surprised that the old desk was still there and that no one hasn't tried to steal it for restoration. #10341686

A perfect and winning Mt on education. We all do remember the desk and I am so glad you found this one. I love the rawness of the picture, the way we can see that it is now abandoned. That bucket is a fabulous prop. I love the black and white, the textures, and the story my friend. Awesome. #10342554
