Description

Lee's Ferry, Arizona
John Lee, a Mormon settler, established a ferry crossing here at the confluence of the Paria and Colorado Rivers in 1871.
Once the only crossing of the Colorado River for many miles, it is now the beginning of Grand Canyon National Park
on the Colorado River and the raft launching location for rafting trips on the Colorado River.
