Airplane Curves

Uploaded: September 15, 2012 05:36:37

Description

For the PG101 "Curvature" theme: Airplane parts are curved for a purpose - if they were like boxes with sharp edges, they couldn't get off the ground, let alone stay in the air without dropping like a rock. This one comes from the Military Aviation Preservation Society (MAPS) Air Museum in North Canton, Ohio (at the edge of the Akron-Canton Airport). Lots of old planes and military aviation memorabilia here! Have a wonderful Saturday, everyone - and Go Bucks!

Exif: F Number: 4, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/1250 seconds, Flash: did not fire, auto mode, ISO: 80, FocalLength: 10.78 mm, Model: Canon PowerShot G10

Thanks! Obviously the museum is dedicated to military aviation, but a big emphasis in on KIAs and MIAs. It's quite a special place that gets no government funding and is run by an all-volunteer staff. #10323940

Like Richard the KIA & MIA were what drew my attention right away. That time seems like only yesterday.
AS FOR THE PLANE CRYSTAL It looks fast just sitting there ;O)
