Description

The view from the front door of Hótel Búðir on the Snæfellsnes peninsula; the conical mountain is Mælifell, while the slender waterfall is Bjarnarfoss.
The incoming tide creates the pool each day, amidst the moss-covered lava field surrounding the hotel.
