Description

Another rugged range. This view taken from the Bow Valley Parkway between Banff and Lake Louise. The road is a secondary road that parallels the main highway. There are no high fences here or animal overpasses....chances of meeting wildlife are good (see the elk photo taken on this road) but driving carefully is a requirement! =^..^=

You excel at mountain images Patricia (not to mention the flowers, desert and other landscapes!). Love the tall tree trunks reaching up to the mountain peaks here. Nicely composed! #1487112

Oh thank you Dee....Mountain images are truly hard to capture to present them in all their majesty...especially the Canadian Rockies....There were so many truly monumental areas and to show their enormity well...This one I photographed three different days to get it....I think there might be better views from a hike up the trail....but was doing no serious hiking due to fall...so hopefully next time I get to see more of the interior of this locations.....Thank you ever so much for your very kind words! =^..^= #10328264
