Gentle spirits

Picture was taken in Ivandvor, near Đakovo town, east Croatia. In the year 1912. the bishop Ivan Krapac built stables for horses and apartments for the workers of the Stud Farm. These facilities have completely kept their original shape until today. It is now part od National Stud Farm Ðakovo. In Ivandvor there is a parent herd of mares with offspring, around 250 horses. Location Ivandvor is surrounded with 310 hectares of ploughed fields and meadows. Location is opened for the public. I go they often and feed horses with apples and carrots. They are very friendly and love visitors.
