Night Out

So what's the problem?I suspect the greenish spotlight in the upper left is responsible for the greenish ghosting/flare. In this situation, be mindful of flare from spotlights shininig in your direction. Use a lens hood and/or change the composition to avoid the spotlight. Remove any filters from the lens (or use a high quality multicoated filter).
A faster shutter speed would have frozen the motion, and the flash still give good exposure to the 2 closest subjects. But the flash has very limited working distance and cannot light the whole room. A faster shutter speed would have left the background dark or black which would completely robbed the photo of its ambience and context. #327725

P.S. the multiple images of the same person - in particular the blue and white striped shirt guy in the background - was probably due to a strobe light in the club. #1958770Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
