I don't know if this gravestone has a personal significance to you, but the subject's composition leaves me puzzled. #40817

There is no personal significance here, I just wanted to convey a story in a somewhat jarring way. This man died at 27 years of age, yet that was nearly 96 years ago. I wanted to convey that this monument has been standing on this hill since 1907, but this man will forever be remembered as being 27 years old. This can be a difficult and uncomfortable subject, so I felt that this image should be a little uncomfortable as well. It does not meet your typical composition guidelines, I like to experiment a little outside of the box.
Thank you for your honesty Doug. I don't expect everyone to like it, but for some reason this one really appealed to me. #123584

I fully understand now that you've explained it. Sometime we have problems transferring our inner visions to an image on film. I know many times what I see, I have never been able to transfer to film. Glad to see that you're trying.I'm solidly behind that effort.
