Description

My Stepmother's Father's old pickup has been laid to rest out in the pasture on the family farm. While visiting on our family vacation I spent an evening trying to capture the mood of the evening and the memory of the pickup. My stepmother is pleased. It was a fun challenge to capture the brightness of the setting sun in a way that wasn't too over powering. 35mm, ISO 400, F4.0, 1/180, custom white balance, hand held, no flash. Sharpness, contrast and color all bumped in Lightroom.

Exif: F Number: 4, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/180 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 400, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 35.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark II

Scott, this is a beautiful work. I do like the mood here. I don't know why though, but in my mind I see this as a black and white shot. Have you tried anything like that with this. I do love the capture as it is as well though. #1485631
