I always enjoy the images of shiny sky scrapers that come up at BP. The sharp lines, repeating forms, the glass reflections, the diagonal comps...
DC doesn't have sky scrapers, but I stumbled across this building recently and decided it would serve nicely for a DC version of this kind of image.
