Watching the sun go down

Uploaded: July 17, 2012 17:21:47

Description

From behind Balanced Rock at Arches NP as the sun set, hoping that the "glow" would pop from the low clouds, but never really happened. Regardless, it was very enjoyable just sitting there watching the sun go down in this wonderful setting. Three shot (1/6, 0.6, 2.5s) HDR using my 18-270 mm (@~130mm), f/5.6.

Exif: F Number: 22, ExposureTime: 100/166 seconds, ISO: 100, FocalLength: 130.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS REBEL T3i

Dear Photo Friend: I feel that something has changed at Better Photo but cannot tell you just what has happened. I have been here since 2003 and most every month I have written to all the winners telling them how their work touches me. I have witnessed photographs that bring tears to my eyes and colors that are unbelievable, now I am worried that like all good things that it will not be here the next time I look.
But the feeling of not being able to congratulate all the winners for the hard work, and sharing their talent with all of us makes me so sad.
However it turns out and even if this is the last time I have this privilege, to let you know how exceptional your work has been, please know that I will never forget.
CONGRATULATIONS to all of you for the month of February, 2013, I send my very best to you always, Merna Nobile
