Twisted and broken, but still here. Iconic image of one of the junipers in Canyonlands NP. Extremely interesting how they manage to survive in these harsh conditions, in essence, sacrificing parts and limbs to continue to live. While moisture can be "seen" in the distance, not a drop here this day.
