Unlucky for Some

Description

Such sadness and suffering in her eyes. When she finished her coffee and cake she arose painfully to her feet and with the aid of a walking stick she limped and shuffled away. Before she left our eyes met across the large wooden table. We both smiled and exchanged niceties. I wish we had the time to have sat and talked for a while.

Photographed '...from my usual (indoor) seat...' at the Crèma Espresso Bar in Port Macquarie, mid-north coast of NSW, Australia.

Exif: F Number: 5, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/125 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 320, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 65.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 40D

This is just an amazing portrait, Dennis. The beauty, yes beauty, of human emotion. You may have been the best thing that happened to her that day - a good man with a kind word. #10228477
