Golden Glow

Uploaded: July 07, 2012

Description

The thing I noticed about this lovely Iris was the golden glow in the center.

I took this photo at a campground in central Arkansas. I used my Lensbaby Composer with the soft optic and a Kenko macro tube.

I have been trying to get good shots of iris for a few years and know it is tough to do.
You did a good job on this one. #1474081

Nice work, I too have images that have taken many attempts before I got one that I was happy with. Persistance usually pays off in the end #10223012

I found that I really like to do Lensbaby soft focus optic with flowers. It seems to give an ethereal look to the flower. Using my Kenko macro tubes was an experiment and I found they work well. #10223373

Kalena,

Great work.
As stated patience pays off.
I´ve tried extension tubes recently but in my case the quality just deteriorates.
