Little Gentle Water Fall

Uploaded: July 05, 2012

Description

This was taken taken in a stream behind our cabin at A to Z Ranch in the Kiamichi Mountains of eastern Oklahoma. I was able to kneel down onto a dry rock in the middle of the stream for this photo.

Used a Nikon 18-105 lens on a D90 for this shot with LR4 post processing. The main processing I did was to take the vibrance out of the photo to leave the leaves in color and turn the rock to shades of gray and black. I thought this left me with a unique photo.

Great composition. A very creative way of producing selective coloring on this image. Nice job #10228355

Kalena,

Very well deserved EP. Surely a winner.
Love the movement and selective coloring

Congrats on your EP, Kalena.
I enjoy the way you've illustrated the autumn colors of the leaves. Very nice. #10231596
