John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge

William S. Briggs level-deluxe June 30, 2012

Beautiful capture. Great color and perspective. I didn't know Roebling built a bridge over the Ohio river. We have one of his bridges close to where I live over the Delaware River between NY and PA. #1472203

This is a historic bridge which first had pedestrians work on it in 1866 is a testament to the technology used. This bridge spans the Ohio River connecting Covington, Kentucky with Cincinnati, Ohio. This image was taken from the pedestrian walkway on the bridge facing downtown Cincinnati.
