I love grapes
Uploaded: June 25, 2012
This possum comes to the backdoor every night for something to eat. Grapes seem to be the favourite. It's very hard to get a picture, I can't open the door very much or the possum would be in like a flash. Lens aperture f/3.5, shutter speed 1/8sec, focal length 4mm, ISO 160.
Exif: F Number: 3.5, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 10/80 seconds, Flash: fired, auto mode, return light detected, ISO: 160, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 4.25 mm, Model: DSC-H70

I have never seen anything like this, Chris. I think you have made a winner here. #10198943Patricia A. Casey June 25, 2012
wonderful shot Chris. The possum at our house in Washington would skidadle away when we opened our back door...but the raccoons...yikes...they'd take over the house if they could! All the best to you & Tony....=^..^= #10199405Kay E. Mahoney June 25, 2012

How sweet!!! :D This is so darned cute, Chris. :D I love that you feed him grapes and things. How neat is that?!When I was a kid we had a possum that would come into the yard a lot at night and our little toy fox terrier dog would corner it and bark like crazy.
They got close to battling it out one night. Both the dog and possum made some vicious noises. We thought that might be "it" for one of them...They were both small animals.
Dad said the possum had to go. So, I got the horrid job of holding the flash light as my brother shot it at close range in the corner of the yard. It was a nightmare night for me that I will never forget. :( !!!
I am so thrilled that YOUR little possum is having a happy life and loves coming to visit you. I wish I could say the same in return and I feel so badly for having to have held that flash light on that rainy night so long ago. #10200489

Thank you all for the lovely comments. Sorry Laura, you had to go through such an awful experience. Sometimes we have to fix or change things, we can't kill all our problems, unfortunately!!!! #10200739Mary K. Robison June 26, 2012
This one looks a lot cuter than the one casually strolling on our backyard wall last month, Chris. Excellent closeup, especially under the circumstances.Tiia Vissak June 26, 2012
