Essence of yesterday

Looking closely at these freshly purchased flowers, I found that they were nearing the end of their freshness. Small signs of age were showing up in their petals, but their beauty still remained - the essence of yesterday's flowers.

I love the theme and the whole jest as to what you are doing here. You are so right girl, they may be showing age, but oh they are still so beautiful. The colors are gorgeous as is the details.
