Obviously your 4th of July entry for your calendar Sue. Very patriotic. It's a shame the flag didn't billow up in the center instead of down. Would have made a better comp. #1465764Sue C. Cole May 28, 2012 0
Dale, Not sure I agree with you on that one:) #10157741Dale Hardin May 29, 2012 0
:o) Hey! I could be wrong you know. :o) #10157976Aimee C. Eisaman May 29, 2012 0
I think the flag has a diagonal thing going on that is cool. I'm sure Dales idea would have looked nice too, but not sure it would have been better. I'm personally not a fan of heels and bikinis, but I'm sure lots of guys will like it. It's a well done image...is it going in the calander? :~) #10158518Jeff E Jensen May 29, 2012 0
Yup, this is a well-thought out and executed image. Nice work! #10159300lisa anderson May 30, 2012 0
Congratulations on your EP! I like the flag, but her foot closest to the flag is turned in a way that distracts me. #10160965Jeff E Jensen May 30, 2012 0
Yeah, it's the foot that's distracting me as well. . . . . #10161178Debbie E. Payne May 30, 2012 0
Sue, I think your execution on this one is very well done but I am finding myself not liking the suggestiveness of the girl contrasted to the American flag. This could be because I grew up in a military family, married an Air Force officer, have been to countless dinners and events where the flag and what it stands for is revered and honored with solemnity. To this day when I go to a sporting event or concert and everyone claps and yells after the singing of The Star Spangled Banner, I stand, in silence, with my arms at my side. This is not to say that my way is the right way or that the clapping is somehow wrong. The fact that we Americans can be as diverse as we are is a testament to the freedoms we have been given by the sacrifices that have been made by men and women of this great country for several centuries now.So, when I say that this image is not for me, that I exactly what I mean. It is still a very marketable image for your calendar which I hope will be a great success. As one of my first BP friends, I hav always admired your work and your innate ability to get your work out there and make what is your passion also profitable. So glad you are in Phellos now!
