Pounding the Pavement on Fifth
Uploaded: May 21, 2012 04:42:00
We have a lot of hills in Pittsburgh, and this was shot as runners crested one of them during a rainy marathon.
Just a bit of trivia -- Carnegie Mellon University is located about a mile to the left, and they passed the University of Pittsburgh campus a mile back.
Category -- Monthly Theme.

Great shot and effects. You are lucky you didn't get run over though. #1464182Nikki McDonald May 21, 2012
Terrific perspective, Mary Beth - that rainy pavement and overcast sky make for nice lighting here, I think. Excellent processing for the image, too. #10144120Agnes Fegan May 21, 2012

Great monthly theme entry.... I've spent way too many hours either training or running marathons.... I just can't get my mind and body to agree to do it anymore. #10145862Zita A. Strother May 22, 2012
WOW! Great capture of expressions as well as storytelling quality. This image is actually 2 in 1... character studies as well as when viewed as a whole, a street scene.Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
