This makes it look rather menacing David; picture one of these about 6 feet tall. Nice capture. I've always liked mantises, but we don't have them up here; it is too cold. #10141775

Mantises are fantastic.
So gracious so calm. You can actually hold them in your hand, as I did for this take.

Different story when they mate. (uffff)

I´m glad the largest one I´ve seen was close to 10cm
