Indian Cucumber Root [03 Paths & Bridges & Roads Dams Arches]
Uploaded: May 10, 2012 19:00:40
Close up (100mm macro) shot of the small wildflower named indian cucumber root found while hiking in the gorge. The name conveys the fact that they are edible, what to eat and what they taste like. I have to admit, the facts above are not from experience as I try to adhere as best I can to the saying "leave nothing behind but your footprints and take nothing out but your photos", while hiking.

I sure won't be tempted - I hate cucumbers (except those that are transformed into pickles)! Beautiful capture, Randy! #10133887Amanda J. Tanner May 12, 2012
