My 1993 Explorer is still at the mechanic's garage. There is a short (somewhere) between the solenoid and starter. The starter many need to be replaced. I hope to find our today. I think the mechanic(s) like a challenge and my vehicle certainly have given that over the years!(LOL)<:))
