Sodus Bay Lighthouse

Uploaded: March 03, 2012

Description

For today, it's another reminder of past adventures. Sodus Bay, New York, is the largest natural harbor on Lake Ontario, according to LighthouseFriends.com. This is the second stone lighthouse building to be constructed here, completed in 1871. Today, it is operated as a museum by the Sodus Bay Historical Society. We're off to visit our son and daughter-in-law - cold and strong winds here today. Dangerous weather elsewhere in the country - hope everyone is safe!

GREAT VIEW of this great looking Light/house.
I'm a fan of the ones where the keeper quarters were attached to or part of the actual light.
Always struct me as a rather Romantic if you will life's work. Being the light to mariners seeking safety from wind & wave.
Not as SHARP as in my prime w the handgun but STILL COULD SHOOT EXPERT if tested. The Scoped rifle was a HOOT talk about ACCURATE just CRAZY.
I have NO STRESS but shooting sure relaxes me. #10021621
