This is one of a mated pair of cardinals that visit us often all winter. This was taken on an overcast morning in February in upstate New York.

Great capture of this little girl, TED! They are not easy to get cleanly, despite their prevalence (they are Indiana's state bird, believe it or not!) I know because I've tried! I love this pose with the twig in her mouth. #1450370
