A great capture here Chris, and a fine adittion to Howards album! My problem with this is that where there is a baby snake, Mum and Dad are probably not all that far away! #1439764

Very nicely composed Chris! Hard for me to look at since I am terrified of snakes, big or small! My cat loves to bring the small ring necked snakes in as presents for me too! #9952710

Ah, what a warm and fuzzy holiday scene, Chris! :) (I was going to say "still life", but the snake's alive...) Cute capture.

Thanks for your fun comments. Haven't noticed any bigger snakes yet but they will be around, this poor thing won't be causing any trouble after it's encounter with the cats. #9955943

Poor snake...oh well....I'm on the other end of the scale here...I like snakes....not that they don't give me a slight fright when I'm on the trail and all of a sudden there it is rattling away....but all of my encounters so far have been safe ones...when them sliding off the trail into a good place for them to be...this is a funny picture though...with the rubber ducky! Have a great day Chris....cheers to Tony too....

I have to admit, I felt sorry for the poor thing also, that's why I thought I'd photograph him, so he didn't die for nothing. We have a carpet snake living in our roof, he mostly keeps to himself. Tony says, to say hello. #9963630

Thanks Patrick. I didn't think many of our Camera/Computer Group would have a snake as a prop. #9976502
