Sunrise Over Pistol River

Uploaded: January 05, 2012

Description

There was a significant amount of fog early this morning, but the stars were also visible above. The weather radar looked promising too. Potentially good conditions for a sunrise from a high place, looking down on the fog. Two-hundred feet high Cape Sebastian, 30 miles south, came to mind. And…. it was a most memorable sunrise! I was feeling like “I’ve looked at clouds from both sides now” when it was over. Quite like a view from a plane, but quieter and more panoramic. And so non-confining.

Quote of the Day: If there is any one secret of success, it lies in the ability to get the other person's point of view and see things from that person's angle as well as from your own. ~ Henry Ford
