Thanks for your comments Connie, Fighting Island is located several miles from Detroit, MI in (of course) the Detroit River. It is the second largest island in the River (Grosse Ile being the largest. The north end of the island has over 300 acres of marshland which hosts a wide variety of birds, waterfowl and other marvelous creatures. #106489
