Description

D90 Tamron18-270@185mm ISO800 F6 SS1/500

Bison crossing or walking along the road to get someplace is a fact of life in YS. They are basically UNCARING when it comes to cars. However when cornered along a stretch of road by steep slopes and 2 way traffic it's wise to just sit still and let them pass at their own pace. Of course Horn holes in your door or fender do make for great conversation starters !!!
This is an Average size Bull.

Yes, I can see why it would be the better option to sit & wait your turn. What a great find to come across, a well timed image. He looks like he's really concentrating going up hill. #9715046

What a great shot Jack, after being this close to one of them I can see why you would give them the right of way. It's hard to believe that these magnificent animals are responsible for more human deaths and injuries each year then any other animal you will come across in the National parks. #9715998
