A man and his companions

Uploaded: September 24, 2011

Description

1/250 @ f8 - 24mm - ISO 200

I was in Cerrillos, New Mexico and he was riding up the street and looked over at me. I held up my camera with a .. "Can I take your picture?" expression on my face and he stopped in the middle of the road for a moment. I only shot the one quick frame, gave him a wave and he returned a nod, then rode off down the street with his faithful dog following.

So many wonderful elements in your capture, Mike ~ the man, his horse, and his dog are all handsome, the colors and light are pleasing, and your on-the-fly composition turned out so well. Outstanding timing, too. Hope to see this again next month. #1410396

I agree with Mary. You got the perfect shot here; Things happen for reasons...is there really such a thing as serendipity? A favorite for me. #9689577
