I love this..great shot, perspective and focus.

We had a killdeer nest in our driveway when we lived in the country. I kept an eye on it and got some fun shots as the four chicks were hatching.

The one I missed was the last little one (very like this one) was standing at the nest with Momma a little behind.

The chick was uncertain about my presence (about 6 feet away). It decided to move but forgot to use its feet. It just leaned forward and went down beak first. It was OK and got up and wandered over to Momma's side. #9675893
