Description

One of my favorite shots of the Holy Cross Abbey in Canon City, Colorado. This used to be a thriving abbey with priests living on the premises. Through time, the abbey needed to turn a profit so they started making wine. Holy Cross Abbey produces award wining wines year after year here in Colorado. Sadly, there are no priests anymore but this building, still owned by the Church, continues to be a place of worship, and celebrations for members of the community.

No worries. There are things I write on threads that I wish I could go back and edit. Lots of misspellings and such. I was caught off guard at first because I could not, for the life of me, bring up an image that I had called, "The Wall". Too funny. I appreciate your remarks come Finalist and Placed Winners time. Would have answered earlier but our BP Photo club that we have known each other for three years online decided to have a Las Vegas meet-up this fall. So we were all out having a wonderful time. Yesterday I slept nearly twelve hours and I am nearly back to normal. It was so much fun to actually meet people we had only known online for so long. #9715973
