New Tools

Road to Abiquiu, New Mexico from Santa Fe.
It is amazing how finding a new tool--in this case Nik HDR Efex--can totally change an old shot. I was going through my old photos looking for examples to show of "rules for shooting landscapes" in my newsletter, and going a little crazy with "makeovers." This is one from 2009.

Exif: F Number: 5, Exposure Bias Value: 1.67, ExposureTime: 1/1000 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 91.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 50D

Wow, such beautiful scenery here Michelle and the colours are gorgeous. I know what you mean about being able to change an old photo with a new tool. I have been changing a lot of what I would consider "not wonderful" colour shots into really cool B&W's with my new Nik Silver Efex plug in. #9582027
