Uploaded: May 19, 2011

Description

Hawaiian legend tells a story about the formation of Mokolii Island. Pele's younger sister Hiiaka encountered moo dragon Mokolii when she was traveling on the windward coast of Oahu. She fought and killed the dragon. Its body supposedly formed part of the roadbed in Hakipuu and pone of the flukes on the dragon's tail is suppose to have formed Mokolii Island.
