Description

I took this in the late afternoon sulight, with the sun backlighting her. I used my Canon EOS Elan II, 28-200mm lense set at about 180mm, Fuji 100 film, on camera fill flash. Because of the large aperature and zoom lens, the background is thrown out of focus.

Nice shot, Pat! She just won't quit staring at me. #35009

Thanks, Adam. It's those big blue eyes that do it. BTW, this is my daughter and I e-mailed this shot to her sister who teaches 8th grade science in Wyoming. Kristin put this on her computer at school as a screen saver --now all the boys are in love with her and the girls wish they were her. #96843

Pat, Your daughter has a knack for the right pose, her eyes are striking, and you seem to have a knack for catching her at the right time, you guys make a good team... #104922

Thank you, Michael. She will like hearing your comments as much I did. I agree that she seems to be able to strike the right expression and pose -- she's a natural in front of the camera. All I have to do is suggest and she does the rest. #105033
