1/40s @ f/6.0, ISO 640, Nikkor 18-200mm @ 24mm. (MT-Delicate).
Taken in Melbourne's Queen Victoria Market, the oldest market in the southern hemisphere. This sprawling, spirited bazaar is huge - over a 1,000 stalls - and the city's prime produce outlet. But it has deals on just about any and everything. These sparkly,chiffon "Princess Swan" Ballet dresses caught my eye as I imagined future ballerina's flying across the stage, despite the fact that the sign says "Wings Sold Separately"!

Thanks for the visit,friends! Looking through my archives for the MT, I spotted this image, which I have always liked. The sign, (located on the purple dress) is clearly visible on my large monitor at home, but is less so here, reads: "Ballet Baby, Princess Swan Dress $39.95" and then in small type underneath it says "Wings Sold Separately"! #9339190
