Metamorphosis (Ancient Pictograph)
Uploaded: April 02, 2011
This is a most important pictograph painted on the wall of a shelter I visited 2 weekends ago. This is the most northern and most western of the Pecos River Style painting and is on private land that has not been visited in over 50 years but very few of us were allowed as the first to visit and photograph the site. This pictograph is on the ceiling and I had to lie on my back in animal dung to get this capture. It is a one of a kind and shows a metamorphosis from the top right around to left.

Due to obvious reasons I can not reveal the location of this site as it is too important to preserve. I felt very lucky to be able to get to a place that no one has ever photographed. #1366303Robert R. Goodman April 02, 2011
