Footprints of the Wind

Description

This is a sunrise photo taken between Cape Blanco and the Elk River (Southern Oregon Coast), looking south. Shaped by the uncontrollable forces of wind and storm, the dunes pictured here are ever changing. It’s part of what makes the seashore so fascinating. Always something new, something previously unseen, something changed. Even if it’s just the footprints of the wind in the sand, or the way the beach grass waves in the breeze, or how the fog melts into the tree line, or how the sea mist tastes. It makes a visit to the beach an adventure!

Nikon D700, 20 mm f/2.8D Lens. f/8, 1/250 second exposure. ISO 200

Exif: F Number: 8, ExposureTime: 100/24999 seconds, ISO: 200, FocalLength: 20.00 mm, Model: NIKON D700

Your work is SO stupendous (I have not used that word before on BP) that I am speechless. Your narratives alone are golden. #9293962
