The head of Lake Wakatipu as seen from the scenic drive along the edge of the lake en route to Glenorchy, north of Queenstown. Trey Ratcliff, the HDR guru calls this road the most beautiful drive in the world! With a length of 80 kilometres, Lake Wakatipu is NZ’s longest lake and its third largest. It is renowned for its scenic beauty being surrounded by mountains. It was the filming location for the Lothlorien sequences in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.
I've been extremely busy the past couple of weeks so I am really behind in my commenting. Hope to catch up soon!
